JetBlue, a low‑cost U.S. airline whose mission is to "Inspire Humanity," faced fragmented data across silos and point‑to‑point integrations that made it hard for analysts to get a single source of truth. The airline needed a faster, more predictive, and personalized view of customers and operations to maintain a seamless travel experience across its network.
Working with TIBCO, JetBlue built a real‑time integration and analytics platform using TIBCO Spotfire to centralize, cleanse, and refresh data (as often as every three minutes). The rollout produced enterprise dashboards (including the BlueLine executive view and airport‑level dashboards for 90 stations), enabled proactive operational problem‑solving (re‑accommodation during disruptions), supported initiatives like Hurricane Maria relief and Mint service optimization, and scaled to roughly 400 Spotfire authors and 21,000 crewmembers using the insights.
