Samsung wanted to help its highly dispersed, tech-savvy workforce better understand and engage with its award-winning benefits scheme, Highlights, after feedback showed many employees did not know the basics of their benefits. With support from Thomsons Online Benefits, Samsung aimed to improve awareness, appreciation, and financial wellbeing while keeping employee engagement high.

Thomsons Online Benefits helped Samsung launch an always-on, multi-channel communications campaign with themed messaging, events, presentations, personalized home-mailers, and jargon-free content. The program drove strong results, including 2,241 new benefit selections, a maintained 96% login rate, 3,530 employees engaged in 22 events, and a 22% increase in pension contributions; Samsung also reported 3.65% lower attrition and won the 2017 Employee Benefits Award for Best Benefits Communications.
