MiQ, a data-driven trading company, wanted to improve supply path optimization beyond simple cost savings and make campaign performance and efficiency better across channels like CTV, display, video, and audio. To do this, MiQ worked with The Trade Desk and used its Volume Control API and REDS log-level data to uncover which contextual supply paths were delivering the best outcomes.
Using The Trade Desk’s API, MiQ built an automated, cookie-free SPO solution that ranked and prioritized inventory based on weighted KPIs such as CVR and CPA, removing the need for manual ad-group optimization. The results were strong: an average 24.5% CPA reduction across 11 performance campaigns, a 39% lift in CVR, 14.3% more conversions, and 10 of 11 beta campaigns improved on both conversions and CPA.
