Marriott boosts conversion rate by 45% with omnichannel marketing

Marriott International partnered with The Trade Desk to maximize reach, drive site visits, and increase bookings for Marriott Bonvoy. The challenge was to better reach leisure and affluent travelers aged 25 to 54 while learning which channels most effectively drove awareness and action across Marriott’s hotel portfolio.

Using The Trade Desk’s omnichannel platform and Marriott Bonvoy first-party data, the team ran campaigns across CTV, digital out-of-home, video, audio, and display in Berlin and London, with TV Quality Index and Universal Pixel used to optimize quality and measure performance. The Trade Desk helped Marriott achieve a 45% increase in conversion rate, a 1.8x higher likelihood of site visits from users exposed to more than one channel, and a 3.8x higher likelihood to convert among those exposed to CTV, alongside a 96% CTV completion rate.
