Havas Media Australia partnered with The Trade Desk to help a tourism organisation boost local tourism during COVID-19, when international travel was limited and the client needed to maximize share of voice in the category. The team looked to reach audiences increasingly consuming video on demand, using broadcast video on demand (BVOD) alongside planning and measurement tools.

Using The Trade Desk’s BVOD platform with Samba TV data integration and Beatgrid cross-media measurement, Havas Media Australia targeted viewers more efficiently and measured incremental reach against linear TV. The campaign reached 3.84 million unique households and 3.87 million unique people, delivered 9.31% incremental reach, and achieved a low $0.05 cost per completed view, with 304,000 people reached exclusively through BVOD.
