A Text Request Case Study
Chattanooga Area Food Bank, a nonprofit focused on eliminating hunger and promoting better nutrition in its region, needed a better way to connect with donors, volunteers, and the people it serves. The organization turned to Text Request and its mass texting and engagement tools to reach these audiences through the communication channel everyone already uses: text messaging.
With Text Request, Chattanooga Area Food Bank imported contacts, sent targeted mass texts for Giving Tuesday and Share Your Christmas, and used link tracking and peer-to-peer features to measure engagement and drive donations. The results were strong: the team raised $58,510 on Giving Tuesday and $113,298 during the Share Your Christmas event, while also seeing more one-on-one donor conversations and stronger community reach.
