DBS Bank sought to address the challenge of rising customer demand for accessible, real-time banking support outside of traditional branch hours, particularly for urgent situations. To meet these expectations while also managing high operational costs, the bank partnered with Tetherfi for a digital transformation solution.

Tetherfi implemented its in-app customer engagement solution, leveraging a suite of products to enable secure video calls from Video Teller Machines (VTMs) to contact center agents. This solution integrated with the bank's existing systems and provided agents with a complete customer view. The results gave customers 24/7 access to banking services via VTMs with live assistance, allowing them to instantly complete tasks like debit card issuance and token activation at any time, offering full flexibility beyond normal operating hours.
