How TemboSocial Drives Adoption of IBM Connections

IBM sought to increase sustained adoption of its IBM Connections social business platform by making peer recognition and community engagement easier and more integral to employees’ day-to-day work. TemboSocial, an IBM Business Partner, built a solution to address the challenge of recognition programs that forced employees off the intranet or required heavy admin overhead, creating a more intuitive way to surface peer-validated skills and success stories directly inside IBM Connections.

TemboSocial implemented The Hive widget on IBM Connections, automating non‑monetary social recognition and surfacing success stories across network, profile and community pages. The solution drove platform adoption and employee engagement—TD Bank users (a Connections and TemboSocial customer) now include about 50,000 employees who have shared 320,000 success stories—helping improve employee satisfaction, streamline daily operations and support continued customer-service excellence.
