La Banda, Univision’s boyband competition show, needed a way to run large-scale fan voting across both live auditions and the main television competition. Telescope provided voting technology including Custom Online Vote, Standard Vote, SMS/Text-Messaging, and Toll-Free tools to support the multi-phase engagement.

Telescope built a real-time audition voting application for 500 fans on South Beach in Miami, where each contestant needed 75% approval to advance, and also enabled secure voting during the show via web, SMS, and toll-free call-in. The solution handled over 160 auditioning contestants over seven days, delivered results within seconds, and helped form the winning bands CNCO and MIX5.
