Countrywide, the UK’s largest estate agency group, wanted to better understand the relationship they had with customers who had recently withdrawn properties from sale. They needed quantitative market research to identify why properties were removed from the market and what happened next, with results that could be segmented by factors such as region, price band, and brand. The Telemarketing Company was brought in to deliver the phone-based research.

The Telemarketing Company reviewed and refined the survey, ran a trial to test success rates, then built the script into a CATi platform and conducted 5–10 minute telephone interviews with a random sample of Countrywide customers. The campaign produced well over 1,000 completed surveys across three engagements, with daily reporting and ad hoc data extracts provided throughout. Countrywide said the research led to fundamental changes in how they ran their business and praised The Telemarketing Company for delivering high-quality work within agreed timeframes.
