Texas Air Systems replaces Carbonite, gives workforce quick, convenient access to data

Texas AirSystems, a mid-sized construction firm, was losing endpoint data due to hardware failures, accidental deletions, malicious employee behavior and migration issues, while also struggling with collaboration and secure file sharing—employees couldn’t easily share large files, keep documents up to date, or securely share with partners and clients and often relied on file servers for access.

To address this, Texas AirSystems replaced Carbonite with Code42 CrashPlan deployed as a private cloud on-premises (using Code42 appliances) to give the workforce quick, convenient access to data while meeting internal IT mandates. The deployment secured data against employee departures, enabled recovery from ransomware, and improved overall endpoint protection alongside antivirus and DLP tools.
