Popular non-profit group Movember taps CrashPlan to reduce IT time spent managing backups

Movember, the global non-profit behind the annual men’s health campaign, needed to prevent data loss from lost or stolen laptops and drive failures, protect endpoint data during migrations, and reduce the IT time and costs associated with managing backups.

They deployed CrashPlan (Code42’s fully hosted public cloud) to replace manual USB/external-drive backups, preserve endpoint data for legal holds, and support device/OS migrations. The move delivered more reliable and consistent backups, lower endpoint backup costs, fewer IT hours spent managing and monitoring backups, and increased end-user productivity.
