Calabrio supports data migration initiatives with CrashPlan

Calabrio Inc., a medium-sized computer software company, needed to prevent data loss from lost or stolen laptops, hard drive crashes, and similar endpoint failures. To replace manual backups to USB drives, they deployed CrashPlan as a public cloud solution (data stored in the Code42 public cloud with encryption keys kept onsite in a master appliance).

CrashPlan centralized endpoint backup and restore, preserved data for legal holds, and supported device/OS migrations and disaster recovery. As a result, Calabrio saw more reliable and consistent backups, fewer end-user support tickets, reduced IT hours spent restoring data, and improved end-user productivity.
