Gael Quality, a Scottish compliance software company behind Q-Pulse, needed a way to manage more than 15,000 test cases, multiple resources, and results from both manual and automated tests. Their spreadsheet-based approach had outgrown Microsoft Excel, and they wanted stronger defect tracking and traceability than their in-house system could provide. TechExcel’s DevTest was the product used to address these needs.

TechExcel implemented DevTest with just three days of consultancy, and Gael Quality was up and running almost immediately. Migrating existing test cases took only three to four weeks, and the company went on to define 14,495 master test cases and execute more than 117,000 test cases, including over 19,000 run through TestComplete integration. TechExcel’s solution enabled Gael Quality to efficiently manage test volume, automate reporting, and improve quality control far beyond what the old approach could handle.
