MPW Industrial Water Services, a North American provider of mobile water filtration and purification systems, needed a reliable way to monitor and control PLC/HMI-driven equipment scattered across the U.S. and Canada. Field crews had limited computer skills and the company required a secure VPN-capable solution that wouldn’t expose servers; the previous remote-access tool proved unreliable and difficult for users.

MPW implemented TeamViewer, giving roughly 75 users fast, secure remote access to diagnose, control and transfer files to remote units, view alarms and analyze screenshots without traveling to sites. The intuitive interface cut training time (~45 minutes per user), eliminated extensive technician travel, and saved thousands of man-hours annually while improving troubleshooting speed and equipment uptime.
