Wendy’s improves supplier oversight 100% remotely with TeamViewer

The fast food chain Wendy's was facing challenges in conducting essential in-person food safety and supplier oversight processes, such as product evaluations and supplier walkthroughs, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This accelerated their need to find a flexible augmented reality solution, leading them to partner with vendor TeamViewer.

TeamViewer, in collaboration with NSF, implemented its Frontline solutions (also known as NSF EyeSucceed) to enable livestreaming and corrective intelligence. This allowed Wendy's to remotely monitor suppliers, approve distribution centers, and improve product safety and quality. According to their Quality Assurance VP, the solution provided significant value in addressing their immediate needs.
