AGCO’s Fendt plant in Asbach‑Bäumenheim faced frequent painting errors and administrative overhead: workers manually counted and entered part numbers and colors for components from multiple sites, leading to wrong color mixes (including powder vs. wet lacquer), incorrect quantities on shipping documents, and costly rework. Ensuring the right color on each part and accurate shipment records was a critical operational challenge.

TeamViewer xPick equipped workers with smart glasses, a Bluetooth scanner and a wrist computer, integrating scanned orders and quantities with FendtView and the MES to verify program numbers and colors in real time. The automated checks and digital tracking eliminated color mix‑ups and quantity errors, enabled continuous process visibility, cut rework by about 90%, improved quality, and ensured shipping documents match delivered loads.
