Siemens Gas and Power, operating a spare-parts logistics center south of Berlin, needed to shorten delivery times and move to a paperless, digitally documented picking process. Siemens piloted TeamViewer Frontline xPick with Vuzix M300 smart glasses and Hyco W26 ring scanners to display shelf and pick information in the picker’s field of view. Photos were automatically attached to orders, hands-free operation replaced handheld scanners, and voice control improved ergonomics—delivering automated documentation, over 10% faster picking, quicker item location and assignment, and easier training.
