Manchester United partnered with TeamViewer in 2021 to modernize operations across the club and improve fan experiences worldwide. Faced with the need to maintain 24/7 MUTV broadcasting, deliver real-time match content faster, and keep business processes running during pandemic travel restrictions, the club required reliable remote access and support across media, IT, and international projects.

TeamViewer’s remote-access and remote-support solutions (including TeamViewer Tensor) enabled unmanned night support, pitchside photo “beaming,” remote editing, and the remote setup of the Theatre of Dreams in China. The result: photo upload times dropped from about five minutes to under one minute (in some cases ~30 seconds), teams saved roughly five hours per week and boosted efficiency ~30%, and MUTV achieved more reliable 24/7 streaming with faster incident resolution.
