AGCO reduces rework by 90% with TeamViewer

AGCO, a major agricultural machinery manufacturer, faced challenges with errors in its metal coating process at its Bavarian plant. Manual counting and color code entry for components often led to mistakes, such as mixing colors or using incorrect powders, which resulted in missing parts, shipping errors, and costly rework. To address this, they implemented TeamViewer Frontline along with smart glasses and wearable computers.

The TeamViewer solution enabled workers to scan components upon receipt, with order and quantity data visualized on their smart glasses. This system automatically checked for program and color contradictions to prevent errors and transferred accurate quantities directly to the plant's control system. As a result, AGCO achieved a 90% reduction in rework, higher quality, and zero errors during the paintwork process.
