Using iPaaS to Synchronize Employee and Student Data at WesternU

Western University of Health Sciences faced a growing burden of repetitive, time-consuming IT tasks—provisioning VPN access, tracking out-of-compliance Macs, and reconciling records between systems like Jamf, Active Directory and Ellucian Banner. To address this, the institution adopted the TeamDynamix iPaaS integration and automation platform to streamline integrations and reduce manual work for technicians.

Using TeamDynamix iPaaS, WesternU built codeless workflows that automatically add Macs not seen for 365 days to a Jamf group, trigger webhooks to pull Jamf and TDX Assets details, create tickets and post updates to a Teams channel, reconcile Jamf and TeamDynamix ITSM asset data, and sync Banner with Active Directory via an Oracle SQL connector. The result: measurable automation of repetitive processes, consistent cross-system records, faster remediation and clear time savings for technicians, with plans to expand iPaaS workflows across onboarding, permissions and other processes.
