A TeamDynamix Case Study
Buffalo State College, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, faced significant challenges with its fragmented and inefficient IT service management. Their previous system, MS Service Manager, was slow, not web-based, and inaccessible to many users and technicians, particularly those on Macs. This led to administrative drain and hindered the ability of stakeholders and clients to interact with the service desk. The college sought a consolidated solution to streamline its work management processes and deployed TeamDynamix's cloud-based ITSM and PPM platform.
TeamDynamix provided a single, no-code platform that consolidated multiple systems, including ticketing, project management, and resource planning. The solution included an inherently accessible client portal compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA standards. This implementation resulted in dramatically faster ticket resolution, increased productivity for technicians, and reduced administrative overhead. The TeamDynamix platform also enabled better governance for project requests and improved self-service for the college's 12,000 end-users.
