A TeamDynamix Case Study
Brigham Young University faced growing pressure to modernize legacy systems and automate manual processes across campus—from onboarding and offboarding student employees to tracking financial aid communications—without overloading IT. To give non-engineers tools to build integrations and workflows, they turned to TeamDynamix and its low-code/no-code iPaaS (with TeamDynamix ITSM integration) to connect siloed systems and streamline routine tasks.
Using TeamDynamix iPaaS, BYU built workflows (one completed in about a week) that automate financial aid award letters by uploading student data, creating individual TeamDynamix tickets, formatting and sending letters, and closing tickets with a send date; they also automated onboarding/offboarding access (including removing users from Teams) and created an “Oops” flow that restored missing values on 2,500 tickets. The TeamDynamix solution eliminated the need for engineering resources on these projects, sped up processes, improved tracking and data integrity, and generated strong demand across other campus departments.
