A TeamDynamix Case Study
Palm Beach State College, a Florida institution serving more than 50,000 students across five campuses, faced a major integration challenge when multiple core systems—Workday Student, Canvas, EAB and dozens of other applications—went live around the same time. With IT supporting roughly 600 applications and 10,000 endpoints, CIO Ken Libutti sought an iPaaS solution to avoid building numerous point-to-point integrations and to create a holistic, user-friendly view of student data. Palm Beach State chose TeamDynamix and its iPaaS offering to manage these needs.
Using TeamDynamix iPaaS, the college implemented a Workday connector (built on Workday APIs) to pull student and registration data into a centralized SQL data warehouse and populate dashboards for enrollment and student success. TeamDynamix also enabled an automated workflow that pulls Eventbrite registrations into SQL, provisions continuing-education students into Active Directory, adds them to Canvas, and enrolls them in RAVE for communications. The result with TeamDynamix is a single source of truth with synchronized data, automated provisioning and fewer point-to-point integrations (avoiding rewriting “5 or 6” connectors), improving analytics, reporting and the overall student experience.
