Boston College chose TeamDynamix to automate and simplify its project portfolio management processes

Boston College, a private Jesuit Catholic research university, faced growing demand for visibility and better work-management than its existing mix of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. To automate and simplify project portfolio management, Boston College selected TeamDynamix and deployed the TeamDynamix Project Portfolio Management (PPM) cloud platform to create a single repository for planning, tracking, and managing its ITS work.

TeamDynamix implemented a configured PPM solution (go-live April 2015) that centralized projects and effort reporting, automated request and approval workflows (architectural, financial, resource reviews), and added resource-capacity planning that looks six–nine months ahead. As a result, TeamDynamix helped Boston College streamline processes, save significant staff time, surface resource constraints before they occur, and provide consistent, transparent oversight—improving visibility across multi-year efforts like the Enterprise Data Warehouse program.
