Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), a nationally ranked, innovation-focused STEM university in Worcester, MA, needed a scalable CRM to deliver a cohesive, simple, and service-oriented student experience. Its existing managed system functioned like a glorified document manager, prevented needed customizations, and left admissions and financial aid siloed—blocking WPI’s ability to innovate and provide seamless service.
WPI implemented the TargetX Recruitment Suite on Salesforce, gaining a flexible, customizable platform with integrated admissions and financial-aid dashboards, consolidated prospect histories, and dedicated support. The change delivered faster solutions, improved customer service for students and families, enabled WPI to pursue its innovation strategy, and did so at significantly lower cost—what the school calls a “no-brainer.”
