HERS, a 46-year-old leadership development and research organization focused on advancing women in higher education, was expanding its programs and events and needed a more robust, user-friendly CRM to communicate its broader offerings. Their legacy system was not applicant-friendly, lacked customization or scalability, and failed to centralize data, leaving staff to piece together disparate information.
In June 2016 HERS adopted the TargetX Recruitment Suite on Salesforce—including Online Application, Application Review, and Events—to consolidate data, deliver a mobile-first application experience, automate communications and payments, and streamline review and event workflows. The change improved outreach and applicant experience, increased applications, simplified event management, and provided a scalable, customizable platform that staff describe as a “night-and-day” improvement.
