Simpson University, a private four-year university of about 1,000 students, was struggling to convert inquiries into applicants as its CRM contract neared expiration. The existing system produced locked accounts from hard-to-remember sign-ins, a non-mobile application that many prospects abandoned, manual data entry and SIS disconnects, and limited event and email analytics — all creating operational bottlenecks for admissions.
Simpson implemented the TargetX Recruitment Suite, deploying a mobile-first online application, seamless SIS integration, automated data workflows, and improved event and reporting tools while migrating their existing data. The switch eliminated much manual processing, made it easier for prospects to complete applications (with a goal to halve incomplete starts), and positioned the university to scale TargetX for retention and alumni engagement.
