US Border Control, through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), needed a secure, scalable testing solution to automate proprietary assessments for mission-critical hiring and promotion roles, including Border Patrol Agents and CBP Officers. The agency also required a highly functional platform that met Department of Homeland Security security standards and could be delivered through a nationwide test center network.

Talogy implemented the Online Applicant Competency Assessment (COACA) program using its True Talent™ assessment platform, customized Federal Enterprise capabilities, Computer Adaptive Test Engine, and Bridge2 remote proctoring. Talogy’s solution went live in March 2021, helping CBP process candidates efficiently, improve visibility into the assessment process, and gain enhanced reporting capabilities, with ongoing direct support from Talogy.
