Royal Mail Group faced the challenge of giving 800 hiring managers the confidence and competence to make important recruitment decisions, even though recruitment and assessment were not core skills for them. To support this People Strategy goal, Royal Mail partnered with Talogy to deliver a best-practice recruitment assessment and training program.
Talogy conducted a full audit of managers’ confidence and competence, then designed a two-day training course backed by reference materials, a workbook, and a final competence test. The result was strong uptake and impact: over 600 managers have been trained, more than 97% were satisfied with the training, over 99% said the assessment achieved its objective, and 81% of managers have been signed off to assess.
