Identifying the best for Holcim’s Ste. Genevieve Plant

Holcim, a leading cement and mineral components manufacturer, partnered with Talogy to hire 250 full-time employees for its new $1 billion Ste. Genevieve plant in a high-hazard manufacturing environment. The challenge was to build a fair, inclusive, and highly accurate selection process for both technician and professional/administrative roles, while also assessing safety and risk-taking propensity.

Talogy implemented a customized hiring solution that included a job analysis, facility tour, competency profiling, and a tailored assessment process with EZ App, the Personal Preferences Questionnaire, an online resume builder, EZ Schedule, and manufacturing assessments such as Basic Mechanical Reasoning. As a result, the plant launched on schedule and was fully staffed with qualified employees, which Holcim said was a key factor in the project’s success.
