American Tool Manufacturing Company worked with Talogy to improve the quality of its entry-level manufacturing workforce, with goals of increasing productivity and reducing safety-related incidents. The company wanted to revisit and update its selection system to take advantage of newer technology and better align with current best practices, using Talogy’s manufacturing assessment solution.

Talogy implemented an enhanced version of its manufacturing assessment, a shorter online tool with fewer hardware and software requirements. In a validation study with 137 employees, top scorers were rated much higher on job performance and promotability, with 83% recommended for promotion versus 35% of low scorers, and they were also less likely to be involved in safety incidents (7% vs. 19%). Talogy’s solution helped American Tool Manufacturing Company identify stronger, safer candidates while also reducing time to hire and improving the candidate experience.
