The City of Miami needed a trusted testing consultancy to revamp its public safety promotion process and provide fair, valid, and legally compliant examination support for its Fire-Rescue and Police departments. In 1998, the City partnered with Talogy to help manage these high-stakes promotional assessments across large applicant pools.

Talogy implemented a long-term talent assessment program that included simulation exercises, written exams, technical knowledge tests, in-baskets, interviews, candidate preparation guides, orientation programs, and assessor acquisition.
