An inclusive assessment approach to high potential identification

EDF, the UK energy and utility company with 14,000 employees, needed a better way to identify high-potential talent and build future leaders while aligning with its talent framework and improving female representation in leadership. EDF chose Talogy and its assessment center approach to make the process more engaging, objective, and inclusive from start to finish.

Talogy implemented a holistic high-potential identification solution that combined online assessments, in-person simulations, and feedback sessions to evaluate leadership potential, behaviors, competencies, and values. The results were strong: 63% of assessment center participants were female, 77% of candidates transitioned into leadership roles, and 56% advanced multiple times within EDF, with over half of those promoted being female.
