Data-driven senior leadership selection

Lloyd’s Register, the global engineering and technology professional services company, needed a fair and objective way to select a successor for a senior leadership role after an internal promotion. With six strong candidates, the company wanted more than traditional interviews and turned to Talogy for a more data-driven approach to assess leadership potential, emotional intelligence, cognitive ability, and behavioral strengths.

Talogy implemented its InView leadership assessment solution, combining PAPI, EIP3, cognitive ability tests, a bespoke business simulation, and a structured interview. The process gave Lloyd’s Register a holistic view of each candidate, led to the appointment of one internal candidate on an interim basis, and provided all six candidates with personalized feedback; it also increased trust, transparency, and confidence in the final decision.
