Boots, the UK health and beauty retailer and pharmacy chain, needed a better way to handle high-volume hiring across more than 2,000 stores while improving candidate experience and identifying the right talent faster. Working with Talogy and its Hire assessment suite, Boots sought shorter, more agile assessments for a growing range of roles, from store teams to graduates, interns, and managers.

Talogy designed and implemented tailored assessments using situational judgment tests, personality factors, and ability/aptitude measures, with fully customized candidate engagement screens. The results included a two-day reduction in time-to-hire, a jump in completion rates from 69% to 89%, and assessment turnaround cut from 3.5 days to eight hours. Talogy also supported a validation study that found a strong positive correlation between assessment scores and on-the-job performance.
