A Syniti Case Study
British American Tobacco (BAT), having just unified its global SAP environment, needed to decide if, when and how to move to SAP S/4HANA while maximizing reuse of its existing investment and meeting tight, budget-driven timelines. Syniti was engaged to deliver an in-depth SAP S/4HANA readiness assessment to evaluate business benefits, costs and options across finance, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, HR and security.
Syniti conducted 25 workshops, used proven templates and a value framework to gather, verify and synthesize information, and produced short-, medium- and long-term (2, 4 and 5+ year) roadmaps that matched benefits to costs. The assessment accelerated leadership conversations, provided BAT with structured, decision-ready scenarios for S/4HANA, improved cost‑benefit visibility and reduced migration risk while compressing the planning timeline.
