PACCAR Automates Connected Dealer-to-OEM Returns Processing

PACCAR, the manufacturer of Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF trucks, needed a more cost-effective and integrated way to handle dealer-to-OEM returns processing. Its manual process for uploading dealer spreadsheets, removing invalid items, and reconciling credits from Oracle JD Edwards ERP and dealer systems created back-office bottlenecks, warehouse backlogs, and slow month-end processing. PACCAR turned to Syncron for automation support, including its Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) platform and Returns SmartBlox.

Syncron implemented an end-to-end connected returns management solution that standardized returns workflows, integrated PACCAR’s ERP and dealer systems, and enabled configurable return policies and centralized visibility across stakeholders. The result was more predictable monthly and quarterly return projections, reduced warehouse backlogs, and lower IT system and administration costs, while also streamlining RMA documentation, reverse logistics, and return analysis.
