Mazda Motor Logistics Europe (MLE) Uses Syncron Inventory to Improve Service Parts Availability

Mazda, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan, faced the challenge of managing service parts across a network feeding 28 distribution centers in Europe from its central warehouse in Willebroek, Belgium. To improve supply chain visibility and better balance inventory levels, Mazda implemented Syncron Inventory, Syncron’s cloud-based service parts inventory management solution.

Syncron delivered a fully automated demand forecasting and replenishment planning process applied to regional distribution centers and dealer inventories, enabling top-down visibility and automated balancing of overstock and understock by pulling excess to the central warehouse and transferring parts between locations. As a result, Syncron helped Mazda sustain high service levels and strong inventory performance—achieving 99% customer service availability and an inventory turnover rate below 1.5—while improving turnover and overall after-sales supply chain visibility.
