Pague Menos, a Brazilian drugstore chain with more than 1,150 stores and 17 million loyalty program customers, needed to turn its large customer data set into personalized experiences that promote health, convenience and community. To meet this challenge it selected SymphonyAI to deliver personalized marketing, assortment and shelf space planning solutions.

Using SymphonyAI’s personalized marketing and Shelf Space Planning tools, Pague Menos ran targeted campaigns and created customer‑centric planograms that generated R$45 million incremental sales in 2018 (about 1.5% of available categories), with participation and redemption rates of 14.8% and 2.46% respectively; shelf coverage rose from 50% after four months to 90% during 2018. SymphonyAI’s work also enabled identification of at‑risk customers (e.g., hypertension), team training, process automation, scalability and significant productivity gains.
