MSF Supply optimizes its medical warehouse operations

MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders) operates a major Brussels warehouse that supplies 37 country projects and employs 300 people. Faced with challenges around medicine traceability (quality, use-by dates, storage), complex import regulations and a high share of emergency orders (about 30%), MSF turned to SymphonyAI, deploying Logistics Operations Management and SR Warehouse Voice Operations to improve speed, accuracy and end-to-end traceability.

SymphonyAI’s solution manages stock, guides complex picking and kit production, and enforces traceability across ~20,000 items in the 13,000 m² warehouse. As a result, MSF Supply accurately fulfills 6,000 orders (≈4,000 tons) and ~3,000 shipments per year, supports 37 country projects from 12,000 pallet locations, and maintains the fast, reliable emergency response required — with SymphonyAI enabling measurable improvements in accuracy, traceability and operational control.
