FrieslandCampina, the dairy producer at its Aalter packaging facility, needed a faster and more reliable way to record and manage packaging-line parameters across three shifts. Using paper lists was time-consuming for shift leaders, difficult to retrieve later, and made it hard for operators to quickly see whether values were within limits. To address this, FrieslandCampina worked with SymphonyAI and used Proceedix to digitize its procedures.

SymphonyAI implemented Proceedix on tablets to guide operators step by step through parameter checks, highlight out-of-range values with color codes, send immediate alerts when limits were exceeded, and store completed lists in the cloud. The solution also digitalized machine reference photos and job instructions, improved access to data for later analysis, and allowed offline capture when connectivity was poor. FrieslandCampina reported better visibility, faster access to trends, and the potential to plan preventative maintenance more effectively, with the app already proving value on the first four packaging machines and ready for wider rollout.
