Skyscanner, a market-leading travel search site with ~800 employees and 10 global offices, faced challenges around automating visitor sign‑in, maintaining a welcoming experience in sometimes-unmanned receptions, and securely storing visitor data to meet GDPR requirements. Three years ago they implemented SwipedOn’s visitor management system in their Edinburgh office to address these issues and later rolled it out to two more offices.

SwipedOn provided an iPad-based solution with photo capture, instant visitor notifications, and ID badge printing (via a Brother printer), enabling staff to multitask while visitors self-sign and ensuring visitors are easily identified on site. As a result, Skyscanner improved security and professionalism—photos are sent instantly to employees, visitors now wear printed ID badges, and the system has been expanded across three offices—demonstrating measurable operational and reception improvements delivered by SwipedOn.
