Community Foundations of Canada, a national network of 191 community foundations, ran the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th to distribute thousands of small local grants. To reach everyday Canadians across remote communities and coordinate more than 500 scattered reviewers, they needed a simple, accessible platform that would make application processes clear and allow them to manage a very high volume of submissions.

They adopted SurveyMonkey Apply to unify application and review workflows across all foundations, providing easy-to-use applicant and reviewer portals. The platform let them collect and manage thousands of applications, fund roughly 1,300 diverse local projects, and centralize data to measure impact and share the Fund’s national stories.
