SIM University, Singapore’s private university for working adults (about 6,500 students), needed a modern CRM to replace spreadsheets and home-grown tools, provide stronger reporting and marketing capabilities, and integrate with its Alcatel IP PBX telephony system to deliver more personalized student interactions.

Partnering with iZeno, SIM implemented SugarCRM Enterprise on-site for recruitment and student relations users; iZeno leveraged Sugar’s open-source code to build the IP PBX integration with Singapore Computer Systems. The result: agents see caller details on-screen for personalized greetings, the university identified service bottlenecks, improved recruitment with Lead and Campaign modules, increased marketing ROI, and higher overall student satisfaction.
