Methodist Homes (MHA) is a UK national charity supporting older people through care homes, retirement living and community hubs. Growing demand for MHA Communities’ groups was hampered by outdated, paper-based administration and fragmented data, making it time-consuming to sign up and manage members, track care needs, and produce reliable reports—issues that the COVID-19 pandemic further exposed.
MHA selected SugarCRM with implementation support from Provident CRM to create a centralised, digital membership-management system, backed by tailored training and a user-champion network. The rollout cut duplicate data entry and admin time, improved data quality and reporting, enabled better tracking of member journeys and activities, and freed the team to expand services and explore further use cases like volunteering and incident reporting.
