Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services and holder of about 80% of the Brazilian market, experienced rapid growth in its Rio de Janeiro operations that strained sales, customer service, and back-office processes. Fresenius implemented Sugar Professional with customization and integration by Sugar partner Lampada Global, branding the system internally as SIGA and enabling mobile order entry for field reps. The SAP integration automated order validation and authorization, cutting order processing from up to three days to just hours; the company now handles about 500 orders a day with no increase in staff, while gaining better customer data, reporting and campaign capabilities to maintain its market lead.
