Generali Hellas, a long-established leader in the Greek insurance market, faced the challenge of managing a large, dispersed customer base and vast volumes of sales and service data—meetings, proposals, forecasts, production figures, endorsements and certificates—while needing more accurate pipeline forecasts, stronger reporting, and tighter control of sales and service processes. The company also required seamless integration with existing corporate systems (BASIS, THESIS and IBM AS/400).
Working with Sugar partner Qualisys Software, Generali Hellas implemented SugarCRM Enterprise on-premise, migrated and consolidated data, customized modules and workflows, and integrated the IBM AS/400 for daily production imports to create a single “one-stop” customer information source. The solution eliminated disparate systems, automated the customer lifecycle, improved internal collaboration, sped client response times, provided fast KPI-driven reporting by account and line of business, and freed up sales time through more efficient information access.
