AB Enzymes Masters Data Synchronization with Sugar

AB Enzymes, a global biotech enzyme manufacturer and subsidiary of Associated British Foods, struggled with fragmented master data across subsidiaries in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Demand planning relied on single-user Excel lists and limited validations, making it hard to maintain consistent customer master data and synchronized value lists (currencies, units, payment and delivery terms) between a new CRM and the company’s SAP ERP.

Working with implementation partner KINAMU, AB Enzymes implemented SugarCRM with automated bi-directional synchronization to SAP for validation and creation of customer records, supported by clean data design and user training. The new system reduced administrative time, cut data errors through in‑entry validation, provided real‑time 360° customer views and improved reporting for demand planning—enabling digitized, scalable processes and plans to roll Sugar out to additional branches.
