The Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation doubled its scholarship funds with flexible tech

Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation needed a better way to manage a scholarship program that had outgrown paper processing. During the 2015/2016 scholarship cycle, it handled 68 scholarship funds and 1,200 applications manually, which made the process cumbersome for students, guidance counselors, and staff.

The foundation worked with Submittable to implement a flexible online scholarship system, launched in time for the 2016/2017 cycle. The new process helped increase applications by 25%, doubled the number of scholarships some students applied for, and supported growth to 2,600 applications while doubling total scholarship dollars awarded.
